Dodge Data & Analytics and the Blue Book Building & Construction Network are combining their businesses, affording current and prospective customers access to the industry’s leading platform for data insight, market intelligence, firm discovery and networking. The Dodge | Blue Book Construction Industry Database will embody the industry’s most complete, up-to-date and accurate information about projects, people, firms and products.

Blue Book President and General Manager Brian Tonry will continue in his current roles, former CEO Richard Johnson will be integral in the assimilation process and serve as a director. The Dodge and Blue Book combination will offer a unified approach for new business generation, business planning, research and marketing services that 40,000-plus accounts can leverage to find the best partners to complete projects, and to engage with customers and prospects to promote bid letting, products and services. Powered by more than 1,200 team members, it will annually encompass more than 10 billion data elements, unique for their timeliness and accuracy; 14 million-plus project and document searches; and, 60 million-plus annual messages centered around bidding opportunities. The business will have more than 1.2 million monthly engagements involving 1.2 million-plus commercial construction professionals. Following the merger, the company headquarters will remain at the Dodge campus in Hamilton, N.J.; the Blue Book headquarters in Jefferson Valley, N.Y., will become a primary office.
